Yesterday, I come down with fever. So, I did not have time to blog & study !!! I wasted 1 day of it. Haiz... =( I still have not started my revision OMG OMG !!! =(
Day 3
As usual, I had breakfast. It was raining at that time. I still thinking whether I wanna go for rafting or not. in the end, I did not report in time for the briefing. I was late !!! Then, i just go for it since that's my only opportunity to do it.
It was still drizzle on that day. Despite that, my grp assemble the raft using the materials provided. After 1 hr plus, which is the time that we took, we set out to the sea and the competition started. Halfway through, me & Joanna need to go back coz of my sandals ok, not that I'm scared to go out !!! After so long of waiting, I realised that Team C got back first even though my team set out first... When they reached back to the shore, I helped them to untie the raft. My team got 2nd place !!! I felt a bit guilty though coz I did not contribute that much to my team as I did not know how to build a raft since it's my first time. We ended at around 12pm ST.
After that, FREE TIME !!! I decided to rinse up b4 heading for lunch. After lunch, I went back to my room. I decided to patronise the swim pool. I changed to my trunks & i took a dip. It was 2.4m deep !!! It's fun though i'm alone there. ABout 3o mins, I went back to my room & went out again to take some photos of the scenery there. it was damn nice. I get to see the monkeys. After that, I need to meet my teammates to rehearse for the last time for gala night
At night, GALA NIGHT TIME !!! We need to perform a skit first followed by fashion show. My group started off first. We did our very best coz I can see that theur act is perfect !!! Well done Mopiko !!! I also watch 2 other group performances & i enjoy it too. After performances. It's time for fashion show !!! My grp go first. I need to dress as a housewife !!! After the whole thing, there's a surprise for us. There's another competition which they organised. It's airband competition, where a grp of 5 ppl per grp need to imitate according to the music that they were given as though they are band members !!! After everything, the RESULTS !!! Guess what, MY GROUP WON FOR THE SKIT PERFORMANCE !!! Congrats !!! After that, disco night is next. I did not join coz I'm extremely tired. I decided to go back to my room and sleep. It was 3am ST that time... =D
Day 4
LAst day... How sad I am =(. The last meal I had in the morning. at 9am BT, we need to check out & waiting at the lobby for the bus that brought us to an orphanage house. I'm going miss this resort as the place was nice with excellent service. Speaking of that, we decided to give money to them in appreciation for the service that they gave us for 3 days here. We then board the bus to the orphanage house...
We arrived there & greeted by a house, & a mini farm. me,azhar & Azura gave introduction to the ppl there in Bahasa Indonesia since they cant understang English. Then from there. we split our roles. Some will entertain the teens & children. My role is just take photos & helping the small children in playing the sandcastle. We brought a bucket of sand. I also help Mrs Leong in the small tent that they enjoyed. Some of the guys played soccer,Sepak Takraw & basketball. It was much fun !!! At around 12pm BT, we need to go off. We took the bus to Batam Mega Mall for shopping !!!
Here we are at the mall, I went shopping with wenxu,Mrs Ang & Bala. The mall was indeed a mega one. =D. it's very modern. First, we went to a bookshop store with them. Then to a departmental store. I bought a t-shirt from there. After that, went to A & W for lunch !!! It has been 5 years since I ate that !!! After that, i went to hypermart to but some tidbits & crackers (Keropok) At around 3pm BT, we need to meet up coz we need to go to the ferry Terminal to went back to Singapore.
We board the ferry at 4.30pm BT. Our ferry's name is Batam Fast's Ocean Flyte. I slept during the journey. As the ferry reached singapore, We were greeted by the view of a big ship, which is Star cruise's Superstar Virgo !!! =D We arrived at Harbourfront at around 6pm ST.
Then, I met my family at banquet for dinner. Yeah,that's about it. It has been enjoyable time i had for 4D3N... I will never forget you guys especially my group Mopiko & Team B. I will like to thanks the organisers for organising this camp. It's really appreciating. To Nigel & YY, u guys roxs. You have done so much for Mopiko and I can't it describe right now (i mean speechless)... haha =D
