It's fated that I can't go back to WWSS & PPS today coz I had a SPDP programme. Haiz...
Anyway, just want to wish all the teachers in Singapore a very HAPPY TEACHERS DAY !!! Especially to WWSS & PPS teachers, who have taught me before !!! and those to my teachers who left WWSS way before as well as my current SP lecturers too, thank you very much for your hard work & guidance towards me... I really really appreciate your teachings, even though you have your own strength & weaknesses, but I still accept you as my guiding partner. I wish the teachers all the best for the future endeavours... =D
I'll promise that next year, I'll go back to WWSS & PPS... =D

30th SPDP Programme - Social Etiquette
Today' session was even more fun than yesterday. The instructor is from The Leading Image Pte Ltd, who is Ms Marion Teo. The class size is 30 students. Guess what ? I met farhan, the photography guy that i met during basic photography class as well as Amanda, my SP CFP 2006 friend. From this programme, i get to meet new friends.
I learn useful skills that is essential for working life from asking questions politely to listening to people & to understand non verbal cues. I learn that when we meet new people, we must gave formal greeting by saying gd morning, do a hanshake & maintain eye-contact.
At the end of the lecture in between, there are some activities like grp discussion, where we need to rephrase negative sentences to positive ones. Another activity that we do is standing on 2 rows & practise communcation with one another. I enjoy doing it & I feel fresh about it & confident. Thank You very much, Ms Teo. I feel an ease, communicating around with people well now. Let me share with you a quote:

30th SPDP Programme - Exam Smart
Today, I had a wonderful interaction with Mr Dennis, the lecturer. He shares with us his tips on how to study smart & pass your exams. I need to have the skills that's why I signed up for this programme...
The lesson was conducted in a big grp of 70 students at LT7. His sense of humour & presentation makes me awake as well as enjoy the programme. Mr Dennis is a section head for Educational & Staff Development (ESD), one of the departments in SP. He also did his O & A-levels way back 2 decades ago. He told us that when we follow his strategies, he guarantee that we can pass our exams, provided that we work hard. At the end of the day, he gave us study timetable & ppt slides notes, which is useful...

30th SPDP Programme - Basic Scrapoholics
Today, I went to the above-mentioned course. There are 14 of us, 2 guys & 12 girls !!! =D The instructor is from outside, whose interest is making scrap book... Her hobby in making scrap book wasy way back 10 yrs ago !!! Wow, she must have make quite a number of scrapbooks... 2 yrs ago, she set up a company & her very own website @ http://www.scrapoholics.com.sg/
Anyway, I did my own too. She said the scrapbook that we do must have a theme. In this case, majority of my photos that I brought are freinds, so I decided to have the theme "friends". The materials that we need is 4-5 photos, glue tape, cutting mat, long ruler & pen knife. She thought us the basics... I'm a bit slow coz this is my first time I'm doing it. It's actually very interesting. I learn something new today... My final piece is a double-sided scrapbook with my 3 photos in it.
Yeah, that's about it. Tmr, I 'm going to have "exam smart" course from 9-1pm... =D

30th SPDP Programme - Basic Photography
Yup, today I went to the above-mentioned course. I get to learn the various techniques of how to get good shots from your camera. The facilitators are from SP Photographers club.
1st, it's the theory part, where they explain to us the different functions of camera,what does it do & so on... Then, the 2nd part is the practical, where i get to take some shots & then at the end of it, they will critique at our photos that are taken...
They also bring us to Pose @ Moberly studio, where that's the place to take passtport photos. I get a chance to take some shots of it at the studio !!! It was fun though...
The last part is the critique part. I took a photo of the frame of the caterpillar (the yellow,squared walkway). I receive good coments from them, saying that it was ok & they also told us how to improve on it.
Yeah, that's about it. I enjoyed myself & at the same time learning something new & useful skills. Tmr, I need to go to SP for CLS IC camp briefing @ Rock Wall.Btw, wed i'm going to SPDP's Basic Scrapholic programme... What's all that about ? Find out in my next post... see ya !!! =D

Last sat & sun, My parents went to Genting & KL with my aunt & uncle... so, left me & my 2 sisters. I had to cooked something for them.
I cooked Chicken rice on sat. It was tasty !!! =D My 2 sis love it Glad u guys out there did not have a chance to taste it. Well, I'm not good in cooking but i can cook some dishes. Preparing for it takes so long coz i need to buy the ingredients. Besides that, i need to do lotsa hoisehold chores like vaccum the whole hse, wash the clothes & many more... it was tiring but fun too as I've used to all these. But, my sis esp the youngest of all did not help me at all lor... she was lazy all the time. All she can do is eat,computer & sleep... that's all !!! haiz...
The next day, which is yesterday, i cooked stir fried vegetables... baby kailan,mushroom, cabbage & sawi It was my first time cooking that & i must say that I feel satisfied coz it's tasty. My 2 sis love it too... haha =D btw, that's for lunch. Dinner, i had to buy pkt food... My parents came back yesterday night ard 11pm plus... they brought Dunkin' Doughnuts & ramly burger for us as well as some crackers !!! Yummy !!! Yeah, that's about it... i enjoyed myself cooking but at the same time, I felt tired...

Today was my last paper !!! I had ITM exam... It was ok and as usual, I make some careless mistakes but eventually my hard work pays off... I memorise from topic A to K last thurs & wed... What a hard work indeed !!!
Last tues, i had CPPB exam. I find it irritating coz i cant do most of the qns even though the qns is set to a standard like a test paper. I think I'm gonna fail but I really hope that I will not repeat any modules.
Here I am, enjoying myself coz the holidays are here !!! 1 month... hmm, what should I do ? =D Anyway, i sign up quite a number of activities to keep myself accompanied...
I will say that semsester 1 modules are not that bad for me. I enjoyed myself be it from lessons to lecturers... I'm looking foward to sem 2 modules. My holidays are from 25 aug to 23 sept... =D

Today, to distress myself from devastating CPPB exams, I went to East Coast Park myself for a swim.. I arrived around 9 plus & without hesistation, I stripped off to my swim trunks !!! Yes, my swim trunks, the one that i always wear at the pool. haha =D
I dip in for quite some time coz it has been a long time i swim at the beach. Well, didn't managed to get tan coz the weather is cloudy & dark... Actually it drizzles but i kept swimming... I enjoy swimming very much & i managed to tread for 1 min only !!! I usually love to go in deep water & float myself at the back. I also try to swim using breaststroke but it's too difficult as the waves are strong for me. How I wished i can do the frontcrawl... anyway, I went off from there around 10.30am
Went home by 196... so long wait for that bus... 3o mins later, the bus came but it's 196A !!! (ends at Shenton Way) wth... so, i waited for add 8 mins b4 i board the B9TL... Then transfer to 198, B9TL too =D home. Reached home at 12.30pm...
This friday is my last paper... ITM !!! I must score this... =D After that, holidays !!! Yippee... =D

Examination Week - Part 1
Here I am blogging again... Anyway, this week is my exam week. I have 2 papers.
Yesterday, I had engineering math... It was damn difficult. The last section i cant do it coz it's tough. I think i'm going to score between 50-55 %... haiz. Even my classmates told me that they are having difficulty in doing the paper too...
Last tues, I had Inorganic & Organic Chemistry (IOC)... It was ok. I managed to answer most of the questions coz I study really hard for it after the major blow when i receive my quiz 3 results... I would say the paper is set to a standard. After that,went to meet Mr Lam to say thank you for teaching me in this module... He offered me to look at the exam answers... Guess what ? I have careless mistakes... After browsing it, I think I'm going to score between 60-65 %
Yeah,that's about it... Next Tues & Fri, I'll be having Chemical Process & Principles B (CPPB) & Introduction to Microbiology (ITM) respectively... Hope I can score these 2 papers better than the other 2... =D

National Day Celebration @ Padang
Just came back... Today is Singapore's 42nd birthday !!! me & my family went to Padang to be part of 10,000 people, forming the largest human national flag !!! so happy... =D Reached there about 2.30 but get to sit down at ard 3 plus coz there's only one entrance (I know why) & the queue is SOOO long... There's people cut queueing too... haiz. As we reached at the entrance, we were given the goodie bag but the contents is not the same as the one at Marina Bay... but, nvr mind !! just appreciate what u get...
We were allocated a squared box, which has a red or white umbrella... i'm sitting at a square with the red umbrella ( to be exact, it's column number 15, row number 6 !!! Just near the goodie bag collection & near to the upper arc of the crescent)... that's where I sit down... According to the hosts, we have broken the singapore record !!! Wow, I'm so happy to be part of this history !!!
At the Padang,we were given to rehearse 2 times... we need to do the opening of umbrella by 3 different ways; open & close,line by line & the wave !!! I enjoyed myself even though is just an easy task... i get to see the chinook helicopter, carrying the national flag & the air display... after that, we went home the night b4 the fireworks as we know that by then, many ppl will be heading home & the public places will be crowded... we get to bring back the umbrella !!! =D
As we went home, I felt a bit dizzy coz there were too many people !!! from padang to esplanade park to spore river to boat quay... Woah, TOO MANY PPL !!! We went to find a place to eat b4 heading home by MRT. Yeah, thats about it... Tmr, IOC lesson at 10... I NEED to go even though is optional... =D

Today, got back the quiz 3... guess what ? I FAILED !!! This is my first time i fail a test !!! IW as like OMG... See, i told u already that I'm going to fail but bhuvan dont believe me... jh after lesson, went to JW Swim Cplx for a swim with ming shun... As usual, stripped off to my trunks & head off !!! It has been a long time i went with him... I had fun. not forgeting, my fav part... sun-tan. the tan line is still obvious right now !!! haha =D Hope next time, we go sentosa !!! Now, let me tell u what happened in the past few days...
Last monday, we had last lesson of ITM... we go thru topic J & K & tutorial as well... i'm gonna miss Dr Tay, who is also our personal tutor... I will never forget when he said the word hello & hey many times to get his attention !!! haha =D Then,during IOC lesson, I had quiz 3... VERY DIFFICULT... I Dun think i can make it... haiz... What makes me frustrated is bhuvan. He doesnt believe that I'm going to fail the quiz... he said something that meakes me hurt... haiz... Just because i write notes on a big sheet of paper, it does not mean i will pass the quiz what...
Last tues, we had last math tutorial & last spreadsheet presentation... The presentation that I do is ok, but we can do even more better if SOMEBODY COOPERATE WITH ME... haiz... The other groups were also gd, espcially for shafique's grp & shan bei's grp... The presentation reps up the spreadsheet module.. It has been fun learning microsoft excel, which is USEFUL IN OUR DAILY LIFE WHEN WE GO TO WORK...
Yeah, that's about it. Tmr, NATIONAL DAY!!! Time files REALLY very fast. It's already august !!! It has been a long time since my last update... I'm very busy with my tests & assignments ! that's why. Anyway, today after ITM make-up lesson, we celebrate Bhuvan & Geraldine's birthday @ MOBERLY...
Yesterday, I had ITM quiz... it was ok & as usual, i forgot some parts. I think i'm going to score a B grade for it.
Last Wednesday, went for SCIC Talk on working in a chemical industry... The talk was interesting to me as they share with us the avg salary, the future of jrg island & so many more.
Last Tuesday, I had Spreadsheet quiz. I find this quiz easier than the 1st one... Hoping to score at least 70% for it. Btw, I got back my math test results !!! I was disappointed because i got 63% due to my carelessness in the last qns. If not, I should have scored 83... =( Today also got back CPPB results. i got 35/50, which is also disappointing but ok la, at least a B grade... My math i should get an A grade coz it's my fav subject !!! =D
Last monday, lessons start at 1pm... During RWP lesson, we got back our report... I scored B- for it, which I feel is satisfied !!! I just need to have final touch-ups before hand in the hard & soft copy by next mon.
Yeah, that's about it... exams is 2 weeks away & i still havent start anything yet due to my hw 7 projects... haiz. Hoping to start ASAP...
