Today, I had engineering math test... it was ok just that i rush like mad when i do the last question. I think i'm going to get 65-70 % maybe... Before this during IOC lesson, both classes were so hyperactive. Mr Lam told us that Xuan Tong is going to expel from SP !!! Lina knows his mum as his mum work at a small shop besides library level 1... my class is also hyperactive especially the chines girls !!! They kept asking me what's the malay word that is closes to "chong".. I have no idea what are they talking about... lol =D shafique said it was "comel", which means cute in malay. i was like... oh ic coz chong & cho (for comel) is different sound ma... that's why i cant think what's the malay word that has the "chong" sound & btw, comel refers to June !!! haiya... =D why u guys think that June is cute ???? =D

Last wed, I had CPPB test & i think i will not do well for it coz i forgot to do some of the qns... But, never mind coz i have tried my very best already...

Last tues, nothing much really happened... it's just that there were no CPPB lesson (btw, tmr there is !!! Ms katerina Yang will be going through the final chapter, chapter 3)

2 tests done, left 3 more (ITM & spread sheet - next week & IOC - week 17) less than 3 weeks b4 exams !!! have not started revision yet... omg =(

Today, my group have IDEA presentation... We did quite well. I feel satisified. In fact, today is IDEA last lesson =(. I'm gonna miss the bubbly lecturers & I going to miss waking up on mon morning !!! lol haha =D At the end of the lesson, I decided to take a photo of my grp with Mr Chris...

Also today, went back to T11A to count the colonies... very very interesting. some plates no need to count coz bacteria kills at 60 degree celcius. that's why, no colonies formed.

Today RWP, needa start to do formal report... must hand in by tmr at T19 mailbox 66. that's where Mr Seto's mailbox is...

Today actually wanna go swimming again with ming shun but it's raining in the morning !!! So, decided to cancel. Now, at home doing my hw & assignments...

Yesterday morning, went to Jurong West Swimming Complex for a swim. It has been a long time since i swim. Just swim 2 laps plus many rounds of lazy river & 2 rounds of water slides !!! I enjoy the slides !!! I thought that it's scary but it's actually not !!! Next time, go swim again with Ming Shun =) After swimming, went to WWSS for alumni meeting. Mdm Siti discuss about the upcoming events like national day cum cultural expressions & teacher's day celeb. not forgetting, talking about the sch's state right now. As usual, i feel utterly disappointed coz i heard that the sch' reputation is getting down & down the drain, which i hate it coz Ms Kok brought up this sch so well & in the end, the students trying to destroy the name !!! SOmeday, the alumniites will meet Mrs Chow & talk about it...

Last Friday, i also went back to WWSS with Rashid in the afternoon. I was shocked to hear that there's no longer free & easy entry for ex-students (last time it is) but now, we nedd to take a visitor pass !!! WTH. According to Ms Tan, she said that there's ex-students who came back & disturb the students !!! They are really spoliers sia... Never mind, When the WWSS alumni card is ready, i can go in & out freely w/o any disturbance !!! =D

Yeah,that's about it. tmr, IDEA presentation & it promises to be a gd one. No ITM lesson tmr coz Dr Tay is away but we have to go back to bio lab to check out results of expt 5 that we have done last thurs... Upcoming week I have 2 tests (CPPB & EMI)... must start studying liao

Today is my last day for IOC & ITM practical... Especially for ITM practical as I might not having expt at bio lab anymore coz I'm thinking of choosing IC (Industrial Chemistry) as my option in year 2. Therefore, I might no see the well-equipped bio labs anymore !!! =( But hey, life has to move on.

There's nothing much to talk about today. Tmr, no CPPB lesson but it will replace by ITM make-up lesson, which initially is at 3pm... also tmr, discuss IDEA presentation.

Today during spreadsheet lesson, Xuan Tong scolded me coz he wants to be in my group for PBL but we didn't want to... Thanks to Bhuvan, i got scolded. why Bhuvan ? coz i told him already that Xuan Tong wants to be in our group but then, he gave only 3 names ( me,wenxu & Bhuvan) to Mr Chia. i cant do anything but just keep quiet & if Xuan Tong asks me whether he' s part of us or not, I will say " I don't know".

After that, went to IMM 's Secret Recipe with khair to collect a birthday cake for yad... We wanted to gave him a surprise... In the end, yad knows already this morning... Thanks to who ? Bhuvan again !!! Apart from him, the malay guys fault too coz they don't know how to bluff to yad... Yad got suspicious since yesterday. Well, It's a good attempt...

Btw, it's now less than 1 month before the examinations !!! Here are the details:

IOC (Inorganic & Organic Chemistry) - 14 Aug
EMI (Engineering Mathematics I) - 16 Aug
CPPB (Chemical Process & Principles B) - 21 Aug
ITM( Introduction to Microbiology) - 24 Aug

Time for all papers: 9 to 11.10am. The rest of the modules (RWP,IDEA,Spreadsheet) are ICA-based. Therefore, no exams. I must start my revision right now in order for me to score well & get good credits...

Next week (Wk 15), 2 tests (CPPB & EMI). Wk 16, 2 tests too (ITM & Spreadsheet) !!!Spreadsheet PBL due on 7 aug, ITM report due on 26.7 & 2 CPPB reports still left remaining !!! That's alot to do in coming weeks. The road ahead will be difficult for me but i'm sure that I can cope... =D

Tmr, IOC lecture & ITM tutorial.

Today, no IDEA lesson coz Mr chris need to attend something important... ITM lesson continue on topic H & I. IOC lesson...went through chapt 7 on aldehydes & ketones. Btw, there's a lecturer coming in to access Mr Lam's teaching. Next is something that makes me nervous... RWP PRESENTATION !!!

I was nervous before the whole thing coz my grp's slot is at 3.30-4pm. After the presentation, I feel relieved as we had finshed the presentation. I feel that I have done my best. I hope that Mr Seto is not biased in accessing the student's performance.

Yeah, that's about it. Tmr, CPPB tutorial at 1pm for both classes... Can't wait to see how MS KATERINA YANG, our new lecturer, teach us tmr... =D I hope she's good.

I didn't realise that I have a daily reader in my blog. Anyway,today, went to SP to discuss RWP with Bhuvan... Make many changes to it.

Now, I will post about my hobbies. The hobbies are swimming,cycling,surf net,collecting stamps & Brochures & hang out with my friends & not forgeting, make new friends... I'lle laborate on the major ones

First, Why swimming ? Well, it has been my interest since sec 3 when I look people swim, I f... I love to be in the water. I'll either go alone or with my friends. So far, i can only do breast stroke. I swim very very slow... but, at least I'm happy that I can swim.Frankly speaking, I love my swim trunks haha lol =D I feel it is sexy for me to wear that rather than shorts, which tend to drag me down while swimming... I know u guys will laugh at me... The maximum laps that i can do is 6 (to & fro). GUYS out there, anybody wanna go swimming with me ? =)

Next is surf net. Well, i just browse through any websites that I find interesting. Be it from leisure to news to everything...

Lastly, making new friends. Like I said, I wanna have new friends that share the same interest as me... especially guys coz I have a lot of girl friends... So now, I need guy friends who can understand my problems & can accept on who I am...

It was a sad day for me as my grandfather passed away this morning (0425 hrs). I did not come to school but went to my uncle's house to offer condolences & pray. Many relatives were there apart from my aunts & uncles. Everything went off smoothly, from bathing of the deceased to burial. This is my 2nd trip to cemetry in 7 years. I get to witness the whole thing, which I think is an experience for me.

Around 7pm, I went to NUH hospital coz my granfather (father's side) is in ICU in critical conditon. I was so shocked coz he did not have any health problem but suddenly w/o warning, he vomit blood & rushed to hospital yesterday. There were many relatives coming in & 2 people can only come to ICU at the same time per patient. When I went in, I feel sad, looking at the conditon he's facing now & just heard the latest news on our way home, he's VERY VERY critically in condition !!! OMG. My parents have to come bach to hospital while me & my sisters went home & pray very hard that he's okay... Really hoping...

Today, engg math go through Tutorial 10... This topic is the most difficult of all. FORCES !!! It's confirmed that Mr chua will no longer teach us.It was replaced by another teacher (which I forget to ask for his name). Next, Spreadsheet lesson on drawing graphs on Microsoft Excel. guess what ? NO CPPB LESSON coz Ms Tan has given birth to her baby. Congrats !!! So, lesson ends at 12pm... After that, went to SP club house with Cass to meet lawrence to inform him of my interest in joining CLS as an active member. After that, went to library to discuss CPPB report for a while. reached home at 2.30pm

As requested by Tan Zhi Wen, I will now post my personal life. I will talk about myself. Basically, I'm 1.85m tall, 88kg in weight.I'm still single !!! ( don't know whether i wanna have gf or not). I'm cheerful, happy,patient & helpful. Sometimes, I feel lonely coz I don't have any trust/true or best friends. I always feel separated from a group of friends (don't know why). I'm really hoping to find some friends who will be able to understand my feelings & my strength and weaknesses too... Not all human beings are perfect what... My best friend can share my feelings & spend time together... If can, guys (preferably chinese guys who share the same interest ( as in hobbies) as me, malay guys can too) are prefered as my best friends not because of I'm gay, but I have lots of friends who are girls. I feel that I'll be better off with good, chinese guys, rather than girls... I'm really hoping to find my true friend someday... =D next time, I'll continue on my Hobbies & Interests

Today, my grp doesn't have to present IDEA presentation coz of bhuvan's lappie (spoilt)... everything gone !!! So, need to redo everything & hand in, together with grp report, by next mon. During ITM, lecture on Topic H. After break, IOC lesson on chemical properties of alcohol & phenol. Lastly, RWP. We supposed to present today but it was also postponed... ( due to same reason). At 3.30pm, we had ITM practical session. We have to come back coz we need to see the results of our creation of colonies in pour plate & spread plate... This experiment requires formal report ( 3o% weightage & it's INDIVIDUAL !!!)... Supposed to hand in by week 14 but we request Dr Tay to hand in Week 15. Btw, today is week 13. I went home around 4.30pm.

In all, 2 presentations by next week. Btw, I got back both IOC & ITM test papers... Guess what ? The NUMBER 31 is my lucky number today coz both test I got 31... ( ITM: 31/40 & IOC: 31/50) !!! haha =D ITM results i feel satisfied but IOC I'm not... I knew that I expected to score this kind of marks... I need to buck-up on my 3rd & final test for IOC as well as ITM too...

Yeah,that's about it. As usual, CPPB tutorial shift to 1pm, we have engg math & spreadsheet lesson too. Engg math probably go through tutorial 10 and maybe mathcad results...

Yesterday & today, I'm very disappointed because of something...

Yesterday, met Bhuvan @ SP to discuss RWP presentation. Fayyadh last min could not come coz he got meeting... haiz. Then, we discuss what are we going to do. After that, we disucss IDEAs as well. Bhuvan done with his z-brush thingy and proceed with the slides, with the help of me. I sms to Mr chris whether the whole grp need to present or only some members. He replied " ALL". Yup, that's right... ALL. Everybody in the grp need to present. I was like, omg. we should have ask everybody to come and discuss. I went home around 11.30am. Guess what ? Something UNEXPECTEDLY happened. Bhuvan's com is spoilt !!! ALL of our IDEA presentation is in there !!! I was like.... OMG !!! I was damn shocked to hear that. I'm utterly disappointed again. it's like our hardwork & effort. In the end, it didn't paid off !!! =( Good thing that RWP presentation is not affected coz I have my own copy. me & Bhuvan decided to meet up tmr to discuss RWP

Today, met Bhuvan at SP's T15 brown tables at 10... ( Bhuvan told me to meet at Study area- T1611 but I told him it's closed !!! He nvr believe me). Since Bhuvan's lappie is down, we have no choice but we do it in my lappie.Things went on smoothly but I still feel disappointed after yesterday's incident... I'm still damn shocked. I need to be back home by 3 as my dad told me not to come home late. There's another problem arises. Bhuvan's Desktop doesn't have Microsoft office ( which i feel is ridiculous)... So, he cant do anything at home after he reached back home. I started to feel panicked as I scared that we might not finish in time for tmr... Gd thing that this thing resolves as he went to his relative's house to do it... Phew !!! that was close.

Tmr, meeting him at 6.45 am to complete the remaining parts of the ppt slides b4 the actual day.

I feel that there's a lesson for us to learn behind this incident:

1) NEVER DO ANYTHING LAST MINUTE !!!! Frankly speaking, I REALLY REALLY HATE IT. I feel that last min won't work, especially for presentation as we need to practice.... Remember Bhuvan & yad ??? NO LAST MINUTE. This RWP thingy, we should have completed by last mon but i don't know u guys are doing what for the past few weeks... we should have at least do bit by bit of something rather than leave it aside for few days b4 the DAY itself. =( Lets take this thing a very impt lesson for us, ok ? =D

2) Must do a back-up everytime u did something coz u might not know that things unexpectedly do happened.

Yesterday, practicals as usual for me... IOC practical was conducted by Mr Lam instead of Mrs Khong as she's retiring. after that, followed by a break (lucky we have time for that). During IOC lecture, we study on a topic named alcohol. Eng math, starting with a new topic on forces ? haha... reminds me of O-level sci physics !!! =D. After everything, ITM prac, learning how to make some culture using streak & pour plate method. there's ITM individual report, need to hand in by week 14.

And finally, the moment we have waiting for... ITM QUIZ !!! Topics C,E & F.Generally, I find the qns are average but some of my answers (or rather most) are mispelled !!! Oh no. I hope I'll get some marks even though I mispelled some words !!! I think at most, I'll get 70-75 %. Yeah, that's about it. Later, Engg math ( Continue on forces) & CPPB lecture (going through tutorial 2.2). BTw, math PBL dues today and my group still have not done yet coz I'm waiting for wenxu, & it seems that no response !!! If that's the case, I'll bring my laptop tmr ( no choice) !!!

Industrial visit to Khong Guan Biscuit Factory

Just returned from the visit... Today, I went to the factory as part of the indutrial visit & assignment... The factory is located at Jln Boon Lay (Near to Boon Lay MRT). The tour guide brings us around the factory, from the mixing process to the baking & the packaging. This is my first time I visit a factory... When I looked at how the biscuits were made, it was so delicious that I'm tempted to eat it. I can semll the aroma of the biscuits. When I stand near the oven, it was so hot that I'm perspiring... The oven's temperature is about 180-400 degress celcius !!! There were a wide range of biscuits, ranging from chocolate to lemon puff... They also produce specialty cookies such as chocolate mint & so on. Here are some of the facts:

1) In 1 mixer, they use 20 ton of wheat flour !!! ( The flour used is PRIMA flour)
2) Cream crackers( normal crackers) are the most hit. Everyday, they need to do it coz the demand came mostly from overseas. There are 3 trays. 1 tray is exculsively used only for cream crackers while the other 2 are used for any flavours at random. Out of the other 2, one tray, 2-3 flavours of biscuits are made per day !!! The production surpervisor will decide what type of biscuits are made for the day (depnding on demand).
3) Lemon puff,Sultana & Cream crackers are top 3 sellers !!!
4) 50% of the goods were exported overseas such as Malaysia,Phlippines,Indonesia & as far as US,UK & Japan !!!
5) This year, the company is celebrating its 60th anniversary !!! (Started in 1947)
6) Company awarded with ISO 9000 & ISO 9001 !!!
7) Do u know that KG Biscuits are also supplied to army camps & Singapore airlines planes ? =D

Yeah, that's all for the visit. I enjoyed myself there even though it is short. Btw, just now, IOC quiz 2 was okay but I think I'm going to score 60% coz most of the qns I cant do it. this quiz is hard. =(

Tmr, I'll be having ITM quiz @ 5.45pm after ITM practical.

It's already 3rd of july & time as usual flies very fast... It's have been 1/2 a yr of 2007.

I did not blog for so many days coz i have been busy with my sch life right now... This & Next week is the busiest week of all for me..

Anyway, since i never update for so long, might as well i update today !!!

Today, i had mathcad lab test... it was easy as we remembered the functions on how to do the formulas, etc. I believe i can score full marks. Today also got back CPPB test paper. i got 44/50 !!! I was so happy that i got ALL my structure qns right. It's only the mcq that I'm weak in. Congrats to wenxu, for getting 49 and to Zhengyi for getting... FULL MARKS !!! =D

Yesterday, no IDEA lesson as the teachers ask us to discuss for IDEA presentation at our own time. Something happen on my way home. I was travelling in a bus (I took svc 185 from SP). At the junction of Jrg east ave 1/st32, the bus & a car crashed on the side of the bus, causing the purple paint to scratch on the car. The reason is there were barriers alongside the road & the bus have to occupy a bit of the other lane to pass through & the car was also trying to drive through as well. both vehicles stopped at the bus stop. the bus was delayed for 15-20 min !!! but, i'm still patient by waiting... The bus resumes its journey...

Last sat, I did not have time to update on circle line thingy. So, i'll update it this coming weekend.

Now, i need to doze off as tmr, I'll have IOC quiz + Industrial visit in the afternoon, whixh i'm looking foward to it. I'm going to Khong Guan Biscuit Factory =D Thurs, i have ITM quiz after ITM practical... Both test I'l try to aim 80%.
