It's Day 7 of the fasting month & now I'm bored at home, doing nothing but helping in household chores...

Nothing great or special happened this week. It's just that I registered for a GEM module last tues, which is everyday chemical hazards (CP009S). I signed up for this module coz i find this very interesting after i read the sypnosis. Furthermore, it's something that it's related to my course.

So, to add on to the modules that I'll take in S2:

Everyday Chemical Hazards(ECH)
Ever wondered what is triethyl citrate that you see on your bottle of deodorant spray? What about the "something-that-I-cannot-pronounce" chemical in your detergent? Or for that matter, in your drink? We are exposed to all types of chemicals in our daily life. Some of these chemicals, if used inappropriately, can bring harm to us. Therefore it is important to know the hazards associated with chemicals, and the proper way to protect yourself when handling them. Equally important is what to do should you or your colleague or family member inadvertently come into contact with excessive chemicals. This module will show you how to obtain all the information you need to know about a particular chemical, its hazards, general protective measures you can take, and emergency response you should adopt.

Yeah, that's about it... Next mon, back to sch !!! =D
